Panther Island Brewing

This weekend we got to visit one of the local Ft Worth breweries that has been on our short list to visit! We have tried a few times to visit in the past but we always seemed to catch them when they were closed for a special event. We are now happy to say that we have been able to visit Panther Island Brewing. The atmosphere is pretty cool! You can tell they like hanging out, great music and awesome beer!

We caught them early on a Sunday and we were definitely ahead of the crowd! No worries though, as Panther Island has more than enough seating and space for groups to be able to hang out and enjoy the beer and the good company.

They use a token systems where you pay $10 for 4 beers. They have 6 on tap currently, so this gives you the option to check them all out. We definitely did and below are our notes!

ALLERGEEZ was my first beer of the day. I loved the way the chamomile and rose really enhanced the beer. It was a very light, easy drinking beer and I could definitely see me drinking a lot more of this one!
Tailgator is a light cream ale perfect. On a nice spring day, this beer is a great choice with very little bitterness.
CANNONBALL was another great beer! I loved the hints of chocolate and the caramel. Even though the flavor was strong, the body was light - which made it such an enjoyable beer to drink.
Belgium Warrior is a strong Belgian Golden Ale weighing in at 11.5%. You don't see enough breweries producing Belgian ales but Panther Island does a great job at it. Served in a half pour, a little goes a long ways.

The Tap Room was pretty large, with areas for live music, a huge screen to watch the game and plenty of seating if you just wanted to hang out and chill. They have cornhole, giant jenga, pool table and fuseball as well - just in case you feel like some friendly competition among friends.
