Legal Draft

This weekend we found ourselves with a clear and empty schedule. Since this is such a rare occasion, we decided to make a weekend of it and visit some of our local breweries. To get started we headed over to Legal Draft Beer Company.

We have been lucky enough to run into them at Total Wine in Arlington as well as a beer dinner in Mansfield - but we had yet to visit the Taproom. We were thrilled with the experience that we had and can't wait to visit again. With this place being so close to home, we know we will be make it one of our frequent stops!

Here are some of the things we loved:

• Beautiful Taproom! Plenty of seating, an outside area, dog and family friendly.

• Friendly bartenders. They take the time to get to know what you like and help you select things that you will love.

• Great Beer! Need we say more :)

Speaking of great beers - here are just a few of our favorites that we sampled this weekend.

Free and Clear

This is their Gluten Free beer option. This is a Blonde Lager and I must say is the best GF beer I have ever tasted. In fact, the best thing I can say about it is that it simply taste like beer. I imagine in a blind tasting you would never know it was GF. Right now this one is only available on tap, but it is totally worth the trip!

Roasted Pumpkin Spice Lager

This one was truly my favorite! Those that know me - know I am a sucker for a spiced fall beer. This one had a wonderful spice profile without being too heavy on the pumpkin. I am sure they will run out soon at the taproom, but you should try to get it while you can!

Chief Justice Stout

This is definitely one of my personal favorites. You can taste the chocolate and it is very light on the hops and very easy drinking.

Hung Jury Hefeweizen

This one was Corey's favorite. A traditional style Hef with a nice balanced flavor.

This is definitely one tap room that you don't want to miss! You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't take the time to stop by and spend an evening or two here.
